TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy- Anime Adds Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Root

TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy- Season 2, the currently broadcasting TV anime based on the isekai fantasy light novel series, has announced another cast member. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will play Luto, the highest-ranking dragon who possesses the same “golden magic” as the Goddess.

Luto is a new character that will join the already announced cast, which includes:

* Makoto Misumi: Voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda
* Mitsurugi: Voiced by Rie Kugimiya
* Sofia Bulga: Voiced by Akira Ishida

The anime is directed by Shinji Ihara and features series composition by Kenta Ihara, with music by Yasuharu Takanashi. The animation is being done by J.C. STAFF.

According to Crunchyroll, the anime’s description for Season 2 is:

“After Makoto Misumi defeats Mitsurugi and Sofia Bulga, humanity is saved from the attacking demon army—for the time being. The goddess is aware of Makoto’s growing power, and she sees him as less of a nuisance and more of a rival. Makoto continues his journey to further expand his community of outcasts and connect with more hyumans. But will he be strong enough to hold off the coming storm?”

The light novel series is written by Kei Azumi, with illustrations by Mitsuaki Matsumoto, and is published in Japan by AlphaPolis. An English-language version of the series is available from Hanashi Media.
