SAND LAND TV Anime Version Starts March 20 With Seven Episode Premiere

March is here, and with it comes the highly anticipated anime adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s beloved manga series, SAND LAND! 🌊🦕✨

Exciting news for fans around the world: the anime will premiere on Disney Plus on March 20th with seven episodes, including a brand new arc set in a lush green landscape called Forestland! 🌿🏔️

To get you even more hyped, a new teaser video has been released for the whole SAND LAND project, and we have a fresh visual drawn by Toriyama himself of the Forestland sage! 🧜‍♂️🌱 Plus, two new characters are being introduced in the new arc: Anne, voiced by Mikako Komatsu (Maki Zenin in JUJUTSU KAISEN), and Meunière, voiced by Ayumu Murase (Shoyo Hinata in Haikyu!!). 🎤👥

The first half of the anime, episodes one to six, are titled “Akuma no Oji” and are based on the film adaptation with some new footage. Episode seven will mark the beginning of the new arc titled “Tenshi no Yusha,” and subsequent episodes will premiere each week on Wednesday on Disney Plus worldwide! 📅⏰

The original SAND LAND anime film, directed by Toshihisa Yokoshima and Hiroshi Kojina at animation production houses Sunrise, Kamikaze Douga, and ANIMA, was released in Japan on August 18th and opened at 6th place! 🎬✈️
