Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku? Anime Reveals Start Date, Manga Adaptation

A new preview and additional information have been released for the upcoming anime series “Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku?”, which is set to premiere on April 1, 2024. The original series will be directed by Tsutomu Mizushima and produced by EMT Squared.

In addition to the anime, a manga adaptation is also in the works from author Torimura. The manga will begin its run on KADOKAWA’s Kadocomi website (formerly ComicWalker) on March 25. A new commercial for the anime has been released and can be viewed below.

The story of “Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku?” follows a group of residents in a rural Japanese town who embark on a journey to the outside world in search of a missing friend, using an abandoned train as their mode of transportation. The series will feature direction by Tsutomu Mizushima, series composition by Michiko Yokote, original character designs by namo, and music by Miho Tsujibayashi.

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Anime Reveals Third Key Visual

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic, an isekai fantasy light novel series by Kurokata, is being adapted into an anime and has released its third key visual. The series follows the story of Usato, who is summoned to another world with two fellow students but discovers a unique aptitude for healing magic. He uses his self-healing abilities to gain incredible strength and stamina, training beyond human limitations.

The anime is directed by Takahide Ogata at studios Studio Add and Shin-Ei Animation, and is currently streaming on Crunchyroll as part of their winter 2024 anime simulcast lineup. The series description on Crunchyroll reads: “An ordinary walk home from school turns into an epic journey for Usato. After suddenly being dropped into another world with two fellow students, Usato learns he was summoned there by accident. But things turn around when he discovers a unique aptitude for healing magic!”

The original light novels are written by Kurokata, illustrated by KeG, and published in Japan by Media Factory under the MF Books imprint. An English language version of the novels is also published by One Peace Books.

Takehiko Inoue, Yumi Tamura Receive Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award for Fine Arts
