Case Closed Manga Creator Gosho Aoyama Opens up in New TV Special

The upcoming “Professional Work Style” special on NHK will feature manga artist Gosho Aoyama and his work on the popular series “Case Closed” (known as “Detective Conan” in Japan). The 72-minute special will provide an inside look at Aoyama’s workspace and creative process, including how he approaches drawing the manga over a long period of time. The director of the special has teased that a surprise guest will appear during the seven-month filming period, but the identity of the guest will not be revealed until the special airs. The special will premiere on April 28 and will be available as a video on demand on NHK Plus for a week following the debut.
