Bungo Stray Dogs Anime Franchise to Launch 8th Anniversary Project in April
The Bungo Stray Dogs anime series has turned eight years old and to celebrate, the “Eighth Anniversary Eight Major Projects” have been revealed. These projects include collaborations with Animate International, RED TOKYO TOWER, Tobu Zoo, and First Avenue Tokyo Station B1 Event Space Ichiban Plaza & Hotel New Otani. Fans can look forward to limited and pre-sales merchandise, fun projects, and even hotel stays in concept rooms.
The anime series, which premiered in Japan on April 7, 2016, has been available on Crunchyroll for all five seasons. Crunchyroll describes the series as follows: Nakajima Atsushi is kicked out of his orphanage and on the verge of starving to death when he meets Dazai Osamu and Kunikida Doppo, members of the “Armed Detective Agency” who solve incidents that even the military and police won’t touch. Atsushi ends up accompanying them on a mission to eliminate a man-eating tiger that’s been terrorizing the population.
