Anime Awards 2023 Winners: Anime of the Year & Full List

The 14th Anniversary of the Tokyo Anime Award Prize was held on March 26th at the Grand Hyatt Roppongi in Tokyo, Japan. The ceremony recognized and honored outstanding works in the anime industry for the year 2022. Here are some of the winners:

Best Anime Movie went to “JUJUTSU KAISEN 0,” while Best Anime Series went to “SPY x FAMILY.” The award for Best Anime Character went to Eren Jaeger from “Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2,” and the award for Best Supporting Character went to Anya Forger from the same series.

In the music category, the award for Best Anime Song went to “Kagerou Daiouja” by Aimer, while the award for Best Animation went to “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc.”

The award for Best Voice Acting Performance (Japanese) went to Yuki Kaji for his role as Eren Jaeger in “Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2,” while the award for Best Voice Acting Performance (English) went to Zach Aguilar for his role as David Martinez in “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.”

Other winners included “Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic” for Best Romance Anime, “Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun” for Best Fantasy Anime, and “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean” for Best Action Anime.

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees! It was a great year for anime, with many excellent series and movies being recognized by the Tokyo Anime Award Prize.
