Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night Anime North American Premiere Set for Anime Boston
Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night, an original anime series, is set to premiere at Anime Boston 2024 before its Japanese TV debut on April 6. The first two episodes will be available to stream on HIDIVE prior to the convention, with the full series simulcasting later this spring. Directed by Ryohei Takeshita and produced by studio Doga Kobo, the show follows four young women who form an anonymous artist group in Shibuya called JELEE, each with their own unique talents and aspirations. HIDIVE describes the series as a coming-of-age story that explores themes of identity and collaboration. Anime Boston 2024 will take place on March 29-31.
