GRANBLUE FANTASY Game Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary with Special Movie

Happy 10th anniversary to GRANBLUE FANTASY! On March 10, 2014, this Japanese role-playing video game developed by Cygames was first released, and since then it has captured the hearts of millions of players worldwide. To celebrate this milestone, the game’s official YouTube channel has published a special 2-minute video featuring the four voice actors who play the main characters in the game – Yuki Ono (Gran), Hisako Kanemoto (Djeeta), Nao Toyama (Lyria), and Rie Kugimiya (Vyrn) – singing a song that depicts the series’ trajectory to date.

For those who may be unfamiliar with GRANBLUE FANTASY, it is a world set in the skies where many islands drift, and the story follows a boy named Gran and his winged lizard companion Vyrn as they encounter a girl named Lyria who has escaped from the Erste Empire, a military government trying to rule over this world with brute force. Together, they head out into the vast skies in search of Estalucia, the Island of the Astrals, where Gran’s father is said to be waiting.

GRANBLUE FANTASY has also been adapted into a TV anime series, produced by A-1 Pictures and MAPPA, with 13 episodes airing in 2017 and an additional 12 episodes in 2020. Both seasons are available on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy.

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating this special milestone for GRANBLUE FANTASY, and we look forward to many more adventures in the skies of this fantastical world! 🎉 #GRANBLUE #GRANBLUE10TH
