WIND BREAKER Anime Sets Premiere Date With Additional Cast, New Trailer

The latest updates for the highly anticipated anime adaptation of Satoru Nii’s action brawler manga, WIND BREAKER, have been revealed. The official site and social channels have received a major update with a new trailer, cast additions, a new key visual, and confirmation of the opening and ending theme performers.

The second trailer provides a sneak peek into the anime’s opening and ending themes. Singer Natori will perform the electrifying opening theme “Absolute Zero,” while singer Young Kee will deliver a powerful performance for the ending theme “Invincibility.” The anime is now set to premiere on April 4 across Japanese TV stations.

In addition to the trailer and theme reveals, several new cast members have been announced, including Taiga Tsugeura voiced by Kengo Kawanishi, Mitsuki Kiryu voiced by Toshiyuki Toyonaga, Kotoha Tachibana voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa.

According to Kodansha USA, which publishes the manga’s official English version, WIND BREAKER follows Haruka Sakura, who seeks only the strongest of the strong. He has just started at Furin High School, a school known for its brawling strength and use of violence to protect their town from those who wish them harm. However, Haruka is not interested in being a hero or part of any team; he simply wants to fight his way to the top!
