Mission: Yozakura Family TV Anime Reveals 2nd Key Visual, Ending Theme Details

The second key visual for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Hitsuji Gondaira’s manga series “Mission: Yozakura Family” has been revealed, along with information on the ending theme song. The series is set to premiere on April 7, 2024, and will close each episode with the “fam!” ending theme performed by CHiCO, with music by Ai Otsuka.

The anime is directed by Mirai Minato (BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense) and features a talented team of key staff members, including character designer and chief animation director Mizuki Takahashi (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation), art director Hideto Nakahara (When Will Ayumu Make His Move?), sound director Toru Kanegae (Pop Team Epic), 3D director Makoto Endo (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), color designer Manami Yamaguchi (Tearmoon Empire), editor Yuji Kondo (Sword Art Online Alicization), director of photography Atsushi Sato (Studio Shamrock), and composers Koji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki (Sus4 Inc.).

The manga, which was created by Hitsuji Gondaira, is serialized in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since August 2019. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English and describes the story as follows: Taiyo Asano is a super-shy high school student who is the only person he can talk to is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura. However, Mutsumi comes from a line of master spies with amazing powers. Her oldest brother, Kyoichiro, is obsessed with Mutsumi and will stop at nothing to kill anyone who gets remotely near her – and his next target is Taiyo! The only way for Taiyo to save himself from Kyoichiro’s murderous clutches is to marry Mutsumi!
